Surviving the Seasons

Dear Parents,

All of our pediatric clinics have received the H1N1 vaccine. Please call your child's clinic to schedule your child's vaccination. We are vaccinating the general pediatric population, along with those who are considered high risk.

Children who are considered high risk include:

  • Infants 6-24 months of age
  • Children over 24 months of age with a chronic disease such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, neuromuscular disorders, etc.
  • Anyone living with an infant less than six months of age

Boys Town Pediatrics would like to respond to your concerns about the H1N1 virus by providing you with the following resources of information:

Because of the rise in children contracting the H1N1 virus, our nurse return call back time may be longer than usual. We understand that your child’s health is your main concern and hope you find the information we have provided on seasonal and H1N1 Influenza helpful in answering your immediate questions.

If you further have questions or concerns regarding your child’s health, please contact your pediatrician’s office. We thank you for your patience.

Sincerely,
Boys Town Pediatrics
