The Pediatric Practice Newsletter: Target Audience

In a pediatric practice, all of your families make up your target population.

We target new parents to grandparents and try to keep the information of interest to all ages and stages of parents and other caretakers. We've had grandparents request subjects they want their children (who are new parents) to read about and discuss. One mom of a new driver was relieved to read about the responsibilities required when operating an automobile. She thanked us profusely.

We've made many offers for our teens and young people to give input, but so far only a three-year-old scribbled us a message. There are groups that produce separate newsletters for their teens, but it needs to be a large population in order to make it a worthwhile effort.
