Keeping students in a routine, much less a routine that involves learning and academics, is challenging during the summer!
All students fall behind during their months of vacation, but by keeping your child in the habit of practicing their skills every day, you can help them avoid learning loss, and even help them get a head start when they return to school in the fall.
During our talk, we will discuss strategies for maintaining a routine that includes time for practicing academic skills and share tricks and tools for motivating your child to complete practice work during the summer. We will also provide tips for determining if your child's academic difficulties are "can't do or won't do" problems and recommend the next best steps for both.
