Behavioral Health Services

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health offers a wide range of outpatient services for children of all ages who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, academic or substance use concerns.

If you are a parent, physician, educator or mental health care provider who is concerned about the behavior of a child in your care, we can help. Our mental health practitioners, psychiatrists and physicians work closely with families, schools and other referrers to provide the best ​care for children and adolescents.

Help with Behavioral Challenges

The Behavioral Health Clinic at Boys Town National Research Hospital is here to help infants, children, adolescents, ​adults and families find solutions to difficult behavioral challenges including anxiety, depression, anger management and more.

Severe Behavioral & Mental ​Health Problems

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry team evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients with severe mental and behavioral challenges including ADHD, spectrum disorders, developmental delays and neurobehavioral disabilities.

Drug & Alcohol Education, Treatment and Prevention

If a child, family member, student or patient is experiencing ​challenges related to substance abuse, our Chemical Use Program can help with education, treatment and prevention. These services are provided to children, adolescents and adults.

Tutoring and Academic Skills Training

The Learning Academy specialized in helping children unlock their ​learning potential. We use individualized, innovative and research-supported interventions to ​​help students achieve ​success in the classroom.

Chronic Headaches and Other Sensory Problems

The Neurofeedback Clinic at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health® provides leading-edge treatment for pain management, migraines/chronic headaches and emotional regulation. Neurofeedback is a treatment method that acts directly on nervous system dysfunction. It works like medication, but without the sometimes negative side effects that can accompany that intervention.

Interpersonal Skills Training 4 Kids

The Boys Town Interpersonal Skills Training 4 Kids (IST4 Kids)​ program offers group sessions for elementary, middle and high school students who struggle with peer and/or adult interactions, such as making and/or keeping friends, talking with peers, or starting conversations.
