The Boys Town Chemical Use Program is committed to serving youth by providing drug and alcohol education, treatment and prevention services. We serve youth, ages 11-19, with varying conditions — from those who are experiencing challenges related to the early stages of substance use, to those who have been diagnosed with long-term substance abuse or dependence disorder, including co-existing mental health conditions.

Outpatient Treatment Program

Our outpatient program is designed to work effectively and simultaneously with support from families, schools, caseworkers, parole and probation officers and other mental health providers. Parents may self-refer to our program. We also accept referrals from court officials, social workers, school personnel and medical professionals.

Services we provide:

  • Assessments/Evaluations
  • Completion of Court Ordered Evaluations
  • Individual Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • Group Therapy (groups of 6-9 youth)
  • A Twelve-Step Program
  • Education
  • Random Drug Screening
  • Community Outreach

In addition to providing services to children and youth, the Boys Town Chemical Use Program also provides the above services to adults.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program

The Boys Town Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program is a weekly 12-hour treatment intervention including group, individual and family psychotherapy. Youth may be appointed to this program or may be self-referred by parents/guardians. For more information, contact us at (402) 498-7979.
