Bath Bombs

Bath Bombs

Dr. Annie Zimmer, Boys Town Pediatrics

I would avoid them.  Extra things in the bath water can irritate skin easily and children are a little more prone to things like eczema or just dry skin, and all those perfumes or fragrances in them might irritate them.  Little girls, it's not uncommon for them to have urinary symptoms just due to irritation from things like bubble bath or other things people are putting in their bath.

Using extra products in bath water, such as bath bombs or color tabs, can be fun for your child, but they can also lead to skin issues. Dr. Annie Zimmer, pediatrician with Boys Town Pediatrics, explains the troubles that can arise when using these types of products in your child's bath.
