Boys Town Healthcare Welcomes a Furry, Friendly Employee

Boys Town National Research Hospital is excited to announce the hiring of a new, paws-itively perfect employee: Poppy, a Bernedoodle puppy (and soon-to-be therapy dog), has joined the Boys Town Child Life team!

Born January 8, she has already begun training to help reduce anxiety for children facing difficult procedures like MRIs, assist those with autism or special needs and de-escalate moments of crisis for kids in distress. Her official 'hospital warming' took place during Hospital Week, where she was able to walk through the halls of her new 'office' for the first time.
