Dr. Laurel Prestridge joined Boys Town Pediatric Gastroenterology in 2006. After completing her master’s in nutrition, Dr. Prestridge decided to continue her education and become a physician. She was drawn to pediatric gastroenterology because of her love of children and her interest in treating children with nutritional problems. Her philosophy in patient care consists of having a team approach with everyone involved in the child's care contributing to helping the child get better. Dr. Prestridge feels it is a privilege and honor to care for these children needing specialized digestive care and enjoys getting to know her patients and their families throughout the years and building a relationship of trust.
