Pediatric Ophthalmology
Our Pediatric Ophthalmology department specializes in the medical care, diagnosis and treatment of vision disorders and diseases that are unique to children. The pediatric eye specialists at Boys Town offer routine eye screenings and check-ups. Our ophthalmologists will also diagnose and treat children and youth for eye disorders and vision problems such as:
- Eye infections

Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

Strabismus, Hypertropia (crossed eyes, out-turned eyes or vertical misalignment)
- Cataract
- Corneal abrasions
- Blocked tear duct
- Amblyopia (poor vision in one eye, lazy eye)
